Be part of the OBF experience!

Oslo Business Forum is hosted for the 10th time and we are now recruiting Ambassadors to join us hosting world-class speakers, partners and more than 2,500 attendees on-site and 10,000 attendees online.

Our goal is to ensure both a high-end customer experience and a unique opportunity to learn about the event industry. You will get first-hand experience in preparing for and running a large-scale business conference such as OBF.

Who is it for?

We are looking for those who wish to gain real-world insights into project management, logistics, production, communication and all other relevant responsibility areas.

Throughout the program, you will work closely with the OBF Team, as well as experienced external stakeholders.

During OBF you will work within one of the following teams. Which team is decided closer to the conference. Each of these functions plays an equally critical role in providing a smooth, energizing seminar experience for our conference guests.

Works directly with our existing partners on planning their activities and ensuring a smooth collaboration

Coordinate tailor-made transportation solutions for our speakers, VIP- and First Class clients, to ensure a seamless experience

Guiding and looking after our conference guests in various logistics-related tasks across and outside the venue during the event days.

Requirements

We are looking for students who...

  • Are flexible, proactive and burn for outstanding customer service
  • Are willing to learn & grow
  • Have a positive attitude and embrace challenges!
  • Love teamwork
  • Moreover, all students need to have and wear an OBF seminar outfit of their own with the following specifications: dark suit, white, long-sleeved shirt and dark shoes.
    (OBF will additionally provide the needed accessories to complement the seminar outfit – a scarf or a bowtie and a handkerchief).

Obligatory meet-up:

  • 3. sept, kl 17:00 - 21:00: Introduction Meeting
    Planned introduction meeting where the ambassadors get to know each other and receive crucial information about OBF 2023.
  • 10. sept, kl 15:00 - 19:00: Tailored training - joint sessions & dedicated training for your specific task(s)
  • 19. sept, kl 16:00 - 20:00: Further training and preparations in your team
  • 23. sept, kl 15:00 - 18:00: Walkthrough of the conference venue for OBF 2023 @ Nova Spektrum, Lillestrøm 
    • 24.-26. sept: Building- and Conference days
      - Building day 24. sept, kl 12:00 - 18:00
      - 25-26. September - Conference days (full days)
