Lillian Gjerulf Kretz is a respected Danish journalist with the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), and has previously been stationed in Washington D.C. as DR’s US correspondent. She is well-known for, amongst other things, her expertise in American politics and society.
Lillian is an experienced moderator of debates and conferences in Danish and English, and has extensive experience as the moderator of the President’s Summit in Copenhagen where she has moderated conversations with business leaders such as Sir Richard Branson (CEO & Founder Virgin Group) and Jack Welch (Former CEO & Chairman General Electric) to mention some. For Oslo Business Forum she has also moderated Steve Wosniak (Co-Founder of Apple) and Malala Yousafzai (winner of the Nobel Peace Prize) to mention some.
Gjerulf has reported from conflicts and major events in Afghanistan, Africa and the Middle East. She has also hosted events such as elections, presidential inaugurations, and viewers across the world watched as she and her co-host from the BBC in 2009 presented the International Olympic Committee´s announcement ceremony in Copenhagen.
