This difficult and exceptional situation caused by the outbreak of COVID-19 has created a lot of uncertainty in the world. Like any event organizers, we at Oslo Business Forum need to make some difficult decisions to ensure we can continue to serve and create value to our customers in 2020 and beyond.

The health and wellbeing of our customers, partners and employees has been a top priority in the conference operations. After two months of thorough consideration, scenario planning and discussions with our stakeholders, we have made a decision to postpone our physical Oslo Business Forum to 29-30 of September 2021. We want to thank our customers in advance for their understanding, patience and excitement for the event. We have created a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page with more information regarding the practicalities for our customers. We would also like to thank our partners for their commitment and flexibility. Together we aim to support leaders who want to rethink their business and strengthen their leadership.

Focus on digital experiences

These unprecedented times have made us ideate how we could help our community to manage and survive this challenging situation. Oslo Business Forum is no stranger to challenging the status quo. Together with our partner Nordic Business Forum, our teams have worked hard during the past couple of weeks to find the best way to gather the world’s top experts and our community of thousands of business leaders together.

On 27 May, 2020, we are hosting our first-ever virtual conference together. Ticket-holders to the postponed event, as well as members of the ‘OBF Leadership Platform’, will get free access.

This online event provides a forum for business leaders around the world to learn from world-class speakers and network and discuss with each other. We are expecting over 5,000 people to join us from over 50 countries. And as always, we are striving to make this online experience unique for you as much as the physical event.

The event will focus on Rethinking Business in the current COVID-19 crisis. We have invited Amy Webb, Patrick Lencioni, Dambisa Moyo, and Scott Galloway to talk about how the crisis will change the world, what kind of opportunities could arise, and what is required from leadership now and in the future.

The entire online event will take place in Brella, a world-leading tool for intent-based matchmaking, powered by artificial intelligence. Here you will be able to book meetings with peers, engage with partners, as well as watch the live presentations and break-off sessions.

Existing ticket holders have received an email about their unique Brella registration link. If you have any questions, contact us via info@obforum.no.

Still looking towards September 2020

As we shift our focus to digital experiences, we are organizing an all-new online conference on 24 September 2020. We have already booked several world-class speakers and will ensure the networking effect remains strong. More information about this event will be provided soon.
